Client: NSW Trainlink
Background: NSW Trainlink provides intercity and regional train services across NSW and interstate.
Problem: Visually impaired people need clear information on their location throughout a journey by listening to a train
guards’ announcements. Train guards need to understand the importance of speaking clearly and how their annunciation
affects passengers with disabilities.
Solution: From a detailed brief provided to us by NSW Trainlink we created two storyboards ideas to convey a deeper
understanding of the impacts of announcements on stations and onboard trains. From these ideas the client selected a
heart-warming, 3-minute story of a guide dog that seems like he can read.
Result: The client was happy with the result and this video is still used in internal training today.
